The Vision of Hope 2008 Churches across the United Kingdom are constantly at work serving and communicating with 58 Million residents and many visitors to the United Kingdom. 'Hope' proposes to support this work, by facilitating intensified, united, focused prayer and a year of activities, communicating the Gospel through words and actions, creating a lasting legacy of both physical and spiritual change in the lives of communities and individuals.

About Hope

By the end of 2007 churches and Christians in over 1190 villages towns or cities across the UK had registered to express interest in taking part in HOPE 2008 initiatives in their community. These numbers are expected to continue to rise whilst those who have registered will be finalising their plans. There have already been many encouraging stories from locations across the UK of people being trained and even employed to facilitate the mission which our churches are going to engage in during 2008 and beyond.

Hope 08 with its great opportunities stretches out ahead here in Pitlochry.
Under the auspicies of Churches working together in Atholl the following projects are being planned:

Parentalk
Passion play
Summer holiday club for primary-aged children.
Garden praise in the Theatre Garden Sunday 24th August.
Good neighbour possibilities where the community council has been approached to ask where Hope 08 could be of assistance.
