The MAD group
M.A.D stands for 'Making a Difference' and welcomes young people from P7 - S4 during the 11 am service. We desire for young people to engage with the bible, seeing its relevance for living. Our programme is informal (we've been known to climb Ben Y Vrackie), thought provoking (studying the bible can have that effect on you) and fun (because we're worth it); all wrapped into an hour on a Sunday morning.
Join us if you can!
Other stuff happening around the youth -

Youth 5-a-side Football (11-16 y.o)
Every Tuesday from 6 - 7 p.m in the Atholl Leisure Centre
(re-commence in August)
Exciting Developments -
PBC have now partnered with YFC (Youth For Christ) and their "yfcone" gap year programme. YFC's mission statement states that they 'desire to take the good news relevantly to every young person in Britain through mission and evangelism.' This excites us at PBC and we look forward to 2 gap year students joining our staff team this coming September to work with the young people in Pitlochry.
And there's more...
There's a lot of ad-hoc activities going on around the place like: 1:1 mentoring, baptismal groups, sleep overs, participating in the BU youth Sports Day every May/June, going to FRENZY - the UK's largest one day Christian Music Festival - every June, drinking large quantities of hot chocolate, etc. We are always open to new things which will encourage and deepen our walk with God. Drop us a line if you have suggestions or would like to get involved.
